The IHDO developed and designed students’ capacity building initiative regarding technology. Today, schools around the world are equipped with cutting-edge technology, and students from first grade through higher education have access to it. Unfortunately, Afghanistan schools are exempt from such technologies, therefore, from this intervention Nazo Ana tokahi primary school in Qalat city, Zabul, which has limited access to such technologies, opted out for this program. Looking to this issue IHDO voluntarily hired one qualified technology background teacher to train the students about technology and English language. This provides school students with fundamental understanding of computer operations as well as the English language, ensuring that students are aware of technology. The contract was for six months, beginning July 1, 2022, and ended in August 31, 2022. The program’s major objective was to improve schoolchildren’s technological capacity. As a result of this initiative, 180 school kids have been trained and benefited, and the school administration recognizes the IHDO’s services. We are dedicated to expand out such activities in other provinces as well, and we are in communication with school administration and the Department of Education to educate more students.
